PEARLAND LOCATION OVERVIEW

Located in historic downtown Pearland, the Alvin Community College – Pearland Center is a safe and quiet place to take courses. The campus opened in 1998 and is a great resource for Pearland residents.

Basic Credit Core and Dual Credit classes are offered at the Pearland Center such as Developmental Reading and Writing, English, History, Psychology, and Math. The Emergency Medical Training program is offered for a degree or a certificate.

The Pearland Center department offers workforce training courses such as Pharmacy Tech., Real Estate, Teller Training, CNA, Phlebotomy and GED which can help you get a job; to Information Technology and Real Estate TREC Updates, which can help improve your skills on your current job, or special interest classes that are just plain enjoyable.Another area of opportunity offered is highly specialized training to meet the needs of area businesses.

In 2008 Alvin Community College partnered with Texas State Technical College to begin an Advanced Manufacturing Training Program which includes:  Industrial Electrical-Programmable Logic Controls Specialist, Industrial Electrical Specialist, Welding-Mechanical Specialist and Hydraulics-Mechanical Systems Specialist.

Free parking is available in front of the campus. Students do not need a parking permit for the Pearland Center.
